Principal's Message

Dear Casey Community,

I am thrilled to introduce myself as the new principal of Casey Middle School. As I prepare for the school year ahead, I find myself thinking about what makes a school truly special. While strong academics are important, what students often remember most are the people who believed in them, the friendships they built, the challenges they overcame, and the feeling that they belonged.

That is what I hope every student experiences at Casey.

I want every Cub to know that they matter here. That they are valued for who they are, supported when they need help, and challenged to grow into the best version of themselves. I want students to feel connected, to their classmates, to caring adults, to their learning, and to a school community that believes in their potential.

Middle school is an exciting, messy, wonderful time of life. Students are figuring out who they are, what they care about, and what they are capable of. Along the way, there will be successes to celebrate and challenges to navigate. There will be moments when learning feels difficult or things don't go as planned. That's okay. Some of the most important growth happens when we struggle, learn from mistakes, and keep going.

At Casey, we want students to develop the confidence to try new things, the courage to ask questions, and the resilience to persevere when things get tough. We believe every student can grow, and we are committed to helping them discover their strengths, find their voice, and achieve more than they thought possible.

As principal, I am excited to build on the strong foundation that already exists at Casey. Together, we will continue to create engaging learning experiences, meaningful relationships, and a welcoming environment where all students can thrive.

I also know that schools are strongest when families and educators work together. I look forward to getting to know you, hearing your stories, celebrating your children's successes, and partnering with you throughout the year. My door is always open, and I am excited to become part of this incredible community.

Estimada comunidad de Casey,

Es un placer presentarme como la nueva directora de Casey Middle School. Mientras me preparo para el año escolar que se avecina, me encuentro pensando en lo que hace que una escuela sea verdaderamente especial. Si, una sólida formación académica es importante, y lo que los estudiantes recuerden más son las personas que creyeron en ellos, las amistades que construyeron, los desafíos que superaron y la sensación de que pertenecían a algo.

Eso es lo que espero que cada estudiante experimente en Casey.

Quiero que cada Cub sepa que aquí importa. Que es valorado por quien es, apoyado cuando necesita ayuda y motivado a convertirse en la mejor versión de sí mismo. Quiero que los estudiantes se sientan conectados: con sus compañeros, con adultos que se preocupan por ellos, con su aprendizaje y con una comunidad escolar que cree en su potencial.

La escuela secundaria es una etapa emocionante, intensa y maravillosa de la vida. Los estudiantes están descubriendo quiénes son, qué les importa y de qué son capaces. En el camino, habrá logros que celebrar y desafíos que superar. Habrá momentos en que el aprendizaje se sienta difícil o las cosas no salgan como se planearon. Eso está bien. Algunos de los crecimientos más importantes ocurren cuando nos esforzamos, aprendemos de nuestros errores y seguimos adelante.

En Casey, queremos que los estudiantes desarrollen la confianza para intentar cosas nuevas, el valor para hacer preguntas y la resiliencia para perseverar cuando las cosas se ponen difíciles. Creemos que cada estudiante puede crecer, y estamos comprometidos a ayudarlos a descubrir sus fortalezas, encontrar su voz y lograr más de lo que creían posible.

Como directora, me emociona construir sobre la sólida base que ya existe en Casey. Juntos, seguiremos creando experiencias de aprendizaje enriquecedoras, relaciones significativas y un ambiente acogedor donde todos los estudiantes puedan prosperar.

También sé que las escuelas son más fuertes cuando las familias y los educadores trabajan juntos. Espero con entusiasmo conocerlos, escuchar sus historias, celebrar los logros de sus hijos y trabajar en conjunto a lo largo del año. Mi puerta siempre está abierta, y estoy emocionada de formar parte de esta increíble comunidad.

Gracias por confiarme a sus hijos. Estoy ansiosa por conocer a nuestros estudiantes y comenzar juntos este nuevo año escolar.
